UAE successfully executes search and rescue for two Asian expats missing at sea

Two individuals were recently located during a search and rescue operation by the UAE National Guard Command.

The UAE National Guard Command recently conducted a search and rescue mission to locate two individuals who went missing at sea. As reported, The operation involved collaboration between representatives from the National Search and Rescue Centre, the UAE Coast Guard Division Third Squadron, and the Air Wing Department of the Ministry of Interior.

The focus of the mission was to locate two individuals in their thirties, both of Asian nationality, whose boat had encountered distress due to unpredictable weather conditions at sea. The coordinated efforts of the search and rescue teams, combined with the pooling of resources, proved effective in locating the missing individuals despite the challenging weather conditions.

Upon discovery, the two individuals were found to be in a state of severe fatigue and exhaustion, underscoring the difficult circumstances they had endured. Despite facing adverse weather, the collaborative efforts of the teams ensured the successful location of the missing persons.

To facilitate their rescue, a helicopter from the Ministry of Interior was deployed, swiftly evacuating the two individuals from the scene. The rescued individuals were then transported to Al Qassimi Hospital for necessary medical treatment.

The successful outcome of this search and rescue operation highlights the importance of coordinated efforts and resource integration in addressing emergency situations at sea.
